Is This Right For Me
What To Expect
Yes. In my experience, online can be just as effective. For some, doing it online might even be more impactful. Being in your own space and not having to hassle with driving or a new setting often makes people more relaxed and comfortable. The real factors that determine success are the practitioner's skill, the client's comfort and the rapport between the two, not whether the session happens in person or online.
Often, yes, though I can't promise a specific outcome for everyone. We identify what your system predicts will happen if you change, then work with the body's learned response to that perceived threat. When that prediction no longer holds the same weight, the automatic response can shift. The goal isn't more sessions to keep exploring the pattern. It's to address what's keeping the loop running so you finally feel like you can respond differently.
This is actually a common worry I hear. It makes sense given who tends to find their way here. But being highly analytical isn't a barrier, it's exactly what this method is built around. You don't need to force your mind to be quiet or "let go" on command. The process itself is designed to work with an active mind, not fight against it. Being a deep thinker doesn't disqualify you. If anything, it's usually a sign you're a good fit.
That's often who this tends to work best for. Understanding your pattern intellectually and shifting it at the nervous-system level are two different things. If you already understand it and it still hasn't shifted, that's a sign the loop isn't insight-level. It's exactly the kind of pattern this approach is built to address.
